Gascona is a famous street here in Spain. It is a street just filled with Sidrerias. Sidra is the typical drink you find here and no where else. Is is alcoholic cider made from apples and takes 9 months to make! People here live in the streets and Gascona is always filled with people drinking Sidra. To pour Sidra the waiter takes the bottle and holds it way over his head and holds your cup in the other hand as low as he can. He pours only a small amount and you have to drink it in one gulp. Here are some pictures from when I went with my friend Cristina!
