Hey Pope!

Today we got to see the Pope speak! We took the metro to the Vatican early and were able to get seats very close to the front. The Pope came in on a car and did a lap around the whole crowd waving to everyone. People were waving their nations flags and going crazy cheering. When the Pope went by it was amazing, you could just feel a presence. The Pope spoke about his recent trip to Mexico and Cuba. He spoke in Italian, French, English, German, Spanish, and Portuguese. He was a little hard to understand because he has such a heavy German accent. It was all so amazing. We went back to our hostel, bought more sandwich meat and just hung out. I really can't get over how good our sandwiches are that we make! Danielle and Fiona left so the rest f us had to check into a new room. We got dinner later that night at the place across the street where they give you pasta and wine for 3 euros. Not amazing like everything else I've eaten but you can't complain
 about 3 euros.
